Al Gottino - Pizzeria — Restaurant in Verona

Looking for somewhere outside the busy touristy city centre, we saw reviews of Al Gottino and weren’t disappointed. Probably the best calzone we’ve had. Delicious, freshly cooked, packed full of flavour and ingredients.The crust was thin and crunchy. Service was great - friendly, helpful and attentive. Unfortunately we had to eat early and the weather was hot so we were the only ones eating inside - there were other customers enjoying their meals outside. We had the best time there. The pizza is one of the best pizzas I ever had in my entire life. So many flavours just melting in your mouth. Every bite was just so damn delicious I was kinda sad that it was finished but tooooo full to order another one. I 100000% recommend this place. But You should book a table on their website to be sure to get a table because it’s cozy little space not much tables but that what makes it cozy. We couldn't be happier with the service provided at Al Gottino. The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and made us feel at home. We shared two pizzas, and it's impossible to pick a favorite—they were both delicious! We left wanting to come again, but unfortunately we were leaving that day, so we'll have to wait until our next visit to Verona.

Despite its location not being in the city center, it's definitely worth going there to experience the taste of their food. The quality-price ratio is unbeatable.
