One star for several reasons. In short, if you are in Verona for one day and you can only pick one pizza place, do NOT pick this one. If you look at their most recent reviews (< 3 months, corona reopening) everything is true. Most good reviews came from years ago. Pizza is very very ordinary, something is missing in the sauce. Bland in general (we had one with shrimps and one with asparagus and olive), it is not bad pizza per se but definitely does not live up to its good review. Their antipasti is just a waste of money. Apart from that, extremely long waiting time for a pizza place (almost half an hour) with bad service as they are too busy and charge €2 service fee PER PERSON. Yeah, it's written on the menu "per table" but charged per person. We asked and the staff became annoyed and pointed at the olive oil and salt on the table saying we have to pay for these services as well. Honestly, I wouldn't think we should take these for granted but no pizza place has charged us for that, and definitely not €2 p.P. If you go as a family of 5 you are paying €10 for bad service. That makes it even more expensive to eat in a restaurant in Milan on Michelin's Guide.

Perfect end to a wonderful day in Verona. At 7pm this place is packed outside. We came for pizza take away. Prices were very pleasing to the wallet. We went inside to order and the place was hopping. The host was a man with personality and greeted us tourists , very amicably. I gave him my name for the order which was Salamino Piccante pizza + Melanzane No problem. We waited 10 minutes and as we were taking our pizza away, he asked if we wanted piccante oil added. We said yes. And believe me, that made the pizza. And all that flavour for €10. Wow !!! Again.. we've had (this week) 4 pizzas prior to this one, but none come close to this perfect pizza. Thank you . I recommend this restaurant wholeheartedly.

If you are looking for pizza in Verona, this is your place! We came in after another of my husband’s forced marathon walk mornings and we were so ready for a good lunch. When we walked in, it looked like a bit of a chain, but it was very clean. We walked by the kitchen on the way to our table and saw them making the biggest mound of pizza dough I’ve ever seen. We ordered the Caprese salad (fresh and flavorful and my favorite thing to eat), a pepperoni pizza and a tuna pizza (my husband’s favorite). Everything was tasty and outstanding. We partnered the meal with an Aperol Spritz and a draft beer. Don’t miss this spot if you are in Venice. It was wonderful and affordable.

Ci guardiamo in faccia sbigottiti. E in effetti poco dopo arrivano i menù, tovagliette, posate e bicchieri. Epilogo: andiamo a pagare.

This place is really excellent. The food is unpretentious and delicious, and the service is fast and friendly. We turned up on a very busy night - we had to queue before we could ask for a table. We were told to wait 10 minutes, and in less than that we were seated in a pleasant room with modern stylish decor. We started with the grilled vegetables and the melanzane. Both came in generous proportions, and both were very tasty. We then had the sea bass and the spaghetti with tomato sauce, with sides of mushrooms and a mixed salad. The spaghetti is the best I've tasted for a long time. With a beer and two glasses of wine, the bill was 65 euros. We've paid as much as twice that recently, in Switzerland and Italy, for food which is nowhere near as good. If we weren't returning to the UK tomorrow we would...
