Capo di Latte — Restaurant in Vicenza

Excellent ice cream and friendly service. Went with my two year old son on a hot sunny day. I purchased 2 ice creams and went to seat inside the shop to eat. Four out of five tables were empty. Two women with empty coffees were seating and talking.

I was informed that the inside was only for customers drinking coffee. My son and I had to seat in the shade in the sidewalk because the table umbrellas outside were not unrolled.

I do not understand the logic of only having coffee drinking customers inside. I can buy a coffee and spend the next 2 hours talking and not consume anything. But how does it make sense to send the people with ice cream and children to eat outside in the hot sun and melt?

I understand that the employees followed protocol but a little common sense helps. It is after all an ice-cream shop.

I suggest not making the inside exclusive to drink coffee. Make it first come, first serve. And probably the ice cream people will leave the table sooner so that you can have more...

Sono passata con due amici il 22 dicembre. Premetto che la città era affollatissima per i mercatini di Natale e tutti i bar erano presi d'assalto, quindi chissà, magari la mia esperienza negativa è dovuta alla situazione specifica... Fatto sta che ho preso una cioccolata calda con panna costosissima, 5,50€ (e nel menù NON era segnato il prezzo della panna, che è venuta a 1€ solo lei...). Ci siamo dovuti stringere in tre su un tavolino a due posti, io ero seduta sulla panca-divano. Siccome ero storta e per mangiare dovevo contorcermi, una volta che i due clienti di fianco a noi sono andati via ho preso la sedia del tavolo accanto e mi ci sono seduta. La titolare è accorsa dicendomi che dovevo lasciare il posto a chi era arrivato dopo, le ho fatto notare che la posizione in cui ero costretta a sedermi mi dava il mal di schiena ma ha finto di non sentirmi... Sono poi andata in bagno e ho notato che non è molto curato; c'è perfino la vaschetta dell'acqua rotta. Lo faccio notare perché sul davanti c'è un cartello che recita "uso bagno senza consumazione 1€". Mah. Nel complesso la mia esperienza è stata negativa, ma non ho nulla da dire sulla qualità dei prodotti, che sono buoni...
