Like all great experiences in a foreign country, I stumbled across this place on a walk back to my hotel and I was so angry that I had eaten already and wouldn't be hungry for several hours.

Fortunately, I did get hungry about 2 hours before close, and made my way back.

I was warmly welcomed, sat immediately, and handed an english menu - I ordered the bacon cheeseburger, fries, and some onion rings and the chef/owner got to it right away.

Fries and rings came out first, and it tasted like home. Don't get me wrong, I love Japanese food, but when you have been eating it for two weeks straight, it's a really nice change of pace to eat something familiar.

Burger came out shortly after, and I was surprised to see that there was American bacon on it! The bread was so soft, and I was informed that he bakes it in house!

The burger was delicious and I devoured it within minutes. I hung out talking with the owner and one of the patrons and ordered the Elvis Sandwich just to stuff my face a little more, and it did not disappoint.

I have traveled the country far and wide, from Asahikawa to Miyazaki and I can easily say this is hands down, the BEST burger in...

A few days ago I tried - after it was recommended to me by some locals - the famous fast food branch Lucky Pierrot in Hakodate. Their burger was genuinely one of the worst thing I had ever eaten, so since then I was on a quest to restore my love for hamburgers. This burger joint certainly managed to do that, everything was perfect especially the buns. If you're still hungry after your meal, I can only recommend you their "Elvis Sandwich" for dessert.

Also I wanted to mention the knitted blankets on every seats, handmade by the lady working there that added a very "at home"...

For a burger shop in rural akita, it’s decent. The buns are a tad dry and the fries are stick-thin and crunchy. It fills you up but doesn’t necessarily leave you wanting more. The vibe the owners and cafe balances out the quality of the food and they are super friendly and enjoy talking to foreigners. The location has other cafes in the area which would be worth to...

I’ve been traveling in Japan for a few weeks and missed a burger. I saw the restaurant in a map search and gave it a try. It was fantastic. The burger was incredible, great fries, and nice iced tea. The best part was the staff and customers. Really nice and engaging. I’d go back in a heartbeat! Sorry my picture isn’t better!
