There was just one guy in the kitchen and a lovely elderly woman in the front and they were both really helpful as we speak very little Japanese. We both had the set menu I just had the larger one you got prawns and vegetables tempura and rice and udon it was delicious.

We are definitely coming back here. We found this place on our last day and it was really good. It’s super local and small cosy place. There was just one guy in the kitchen and a lovely elderly woman in the front and they were both really helpful as we speak very little Japanese. We both had the set menu I just had the larger one you got prawns and vegetables tempura and rice and udon it was delicious.

A cozy little place to get excellent tempura served over rice a minute's walk from Aomori Station for lunch. Seating is pretty limited, so there can be a bit of a wait. Aside from the quality of tempura, it seems the restaurant stands out by providing a service at no extra charge at the middle of your meal where they take a blow torch to your tempura to reheat it and give it a nice...
