A small decent Western cuisine restaurant with a semi open kitchen using many local products. Seven of us had full course dinner with prior reservation. All the dishes are excellent, taste very good and the presentation was excellent. What impressive us most was the dressing, seasoning and gravy, that blended so well with the food! Highly recommended.
A note: We are foreigners and we made reservation via our hotel. We were reminded seriously that we must inform the hotel if we cannot attend so the hotel could help to cancel the booking. Read moreA wonderful and elegant dinner dining experience!! The dishes are prepared featuring fresh ingredients from all around Hokkaido and the presentation and taste of each dish is something to be experienced.
I ordered the course menu with 5 dishes and coffee or tea at the end of the meal. My wife ordered the course menu of 4 dishes and coffee or tea. We also ordered a glass of wine to share between the two of us.
All in all the meal cost about 11,500 yen and it was worth every yen. If I were to find a restaurant like this back in Los Angeles with the same quality of food, atmosphere and presentation of its dishes, it could easily cost...
Read moreAn amazing four course diner with white and red wines by the glass. The salad was a work of art with vegetables cut in a way that exposed their beauty. You’d have to see it to understand it. A large variety. The risotto was made with lovely mushrooms, perfect in balance. The fish was perfectly cooked w crispy skin and a sauce to match, incredible fresh Hokkaido flavor. I’ve never had Madelines served warm and fresh, and I will never eat them any other way again. Desert was a sweet cheesy delight. It appeared only one person created all of this. Don’t miss this on you Asahikawa...
