くすぬむ ＆ マキフラワーズ — Restaurant in Ashikaga

Service was friendly and polite and the restaurant was spacious; we were able to come here with our suitcases while we waited for check-in at our accommodation.

I overheard a number of diners saying that the food was delicious (“umai”). I agree to an extent because the flavour of my squid and mentaiko pasta was certainly hearty, but the overall dish was not quite to my liking; it was really soupy and the mentaiko was overcooked, in which the eggs become opaque and grainy—not my favourite. My husband’s pizza was also disappointing, resembling a reheated frozen pizza.

Furthermore, the food took a while to come out and our dishes did not get served at the same time. The timing was off when serving drinks, too, since my husband’s coffee was brought out mid-meal instead of before, which was odd.

Overall, the flavour of the pasta was good and I would recommend those dishes instead of the pizzas, but I think there is room for...

ケーキのテイクアウトで利用しました 今年の夏にでき始めて、職場が近くなので毎日気になって通っていたのですが、思い切って来店！ 優しい女性の方が対応してくれました。店内もレトロでオシャレな雰囲気でゆったりできそうでした。 テイクアウトしたチーズケーキも美味しかったです！
