This place is clearly amazing at grilled chicken but I regret ordering the cold reiman. It’s overpriced at 1700 yen and to me it was flavorless. It’s a pretty assortment of vegetables and a few thin slices of chicken so it felt more like a vegetable soup with chicken rather than a chicken soup with vegetables. I would recommend adding more flavorful pieces of chicken and less large cuts of vegetables to make the ratio more balanced for a restaurant that specializes in chicken. A local gem! A smoky yakitori restaurant with a great view of Beppu. We came here for dinner with our toddler and the service was excellent.
