❗Someone give the waitress with the cat tattoo on her arm a raise! She was incredibly friendly, kind, and clearly took great pride in her work. I don’t mean to offend the other staff, but the difference in service was really noticeable.
I can't say much about the pricing since this was the only izakaya I visited in Biei, but compared to Tokyo, the prices felt very low. Everything we ordered was delicious. We especially liked how they presented some of the dishes — for example, the “fire gyoza 🥟 🔥” Actually, it’s just tasty gyoza, but the presentation was on par with upscale restaurants in Ginza.
