the fried squid and fish are among the worser one i have tasted by far. not only were they not fried fresh to the order, but it also is very possible that they had refried them twice. the tempura batter is a thick oily greasy layer, like a wrap almost, concealing some of the driest chewiest fish.

Maruhisa Tempura has been a main stay for our tempura eating in the 18 years I have been living here with my wife. Always a reasonable price compared to other places, the wait for piping hot tempura is not as long as some places.
