Good Day Coffee — Restaurant in Chatan

Came in to order some take out and the server was rude. He seemed rushed and bothered to look me in the eye when taking my order. The atmosphere felt unwelcome, other than the greeting they give you on the way in and the way out. When confronted and asked about his attitude, the server just brushed it off, went behind the counter and commented to the rest of the staff instead of telling me directly when I asked him. Spend your money in a place with better customer service. They provide a service and are getting paid for it. It's not like its free. Amazing food. Portions are not American sized, so I recommend getting two dishes if you’re a normal-sized American with an appetite. Also not extremely kid friendly, and there is usually a wait. Finally, the parking situation is the worst. You might have to get up in the middle of your meal to let someone out, if you even get to park within about half of a mile of the place. I have never got parking there, but I did not follow their recommendation to go all the way to the sea wall to see if I could find a spot there, either. So much better than Starbucks, though I haven’t had Japan’s Starbucks yet. Been in this country for almost 2 days and this definitely might be one of my go to spots depending on where I live!

I had the avocado toast, it was so good, earthy tasting but in a good way. My wife had the French toast and the texture was so soft, like a marshmallow and the whip cream on the side tasted like the cook just whipped it up! I only had 1 bite of hers but would get her order next time! Both ending up getting Cafe Latte hot and iced separately.
