Caracalla — Restaurant in Chatan

The first time I went, I stood in line for 30 min. It did not move an inch. That was around 9:15 on a Sunday morning. We ended up leaving because the line was just ridiculous. Thumbs down.

The second time we went, we got there before it opened and had a great parking spot. They owners were friendly and the food was great. Even though we were first in line, we still waited 15~20 min for our food. Kind of a bummer we had to wait so long. Ordered two bahn mi and three bagels. Not much at all. My daughter ate half of my bahn mi as well as her own. Good experience. Thumbs up!

The third time we went, I parked in front of the other cars in the parking garage. I wasn't in the street. I was parked in the designated area for the cafe. I was going to order take out so I knew I wouldn't be long. However the owner (older man) gave me a paper when I was walking to the cafe that said to not park in the street and then yelled at me when I told him I wasn't parked in the street. I told him I was parked in the garage, but just in front of people. He became irate and started yelling at all the people trying to park. It was at 9am on a Thursday. He got really upset with me when I told him I was parked correctly. I went inside to see what the wait time was like. The girl in front of me said she "was going to order like 18 bagels. haha! sorry." After she told me that, I gave up. It didn't even look like they had "like 18 bagels" left anyways. Plus the owner was being completely ridiculous. THUMBS DOWN, FOR SURE!

Tip: Get there before it opens, or you'll have a horrible experience.

The BEST handmade tasting bagel I’ve had in island! During certain holiday seasons they also create specialty bagels. Located out side Kadena Gate1, this place is a must try/visit. You have the option to get regular cream cream or one of their flavored creams (mixed berry, etc.) you will be asked how would you prefer your bagel; sliced (sandwich) or whole with the cream option on your bagel or to the side. If you think you don’t have enough cream you can purchase additional cheese for a minimum fee. Let’s say you want more than cheese they have protein choices: lox’s, beef, eggs, etc. The bread was fluffy and delicious. Didn’t not have a hard consistency even after I left on counter for a few hours. You can contact them via google chats or via there online system to order you items. Some reviews stay you can order 24-hours in advance but if you have a small order (1 item) you can purchase the day of just be cognizant they might sell out. So get it whilst it’s hot. Since most folks are particular about parking in this area, they have a 3 car covered garage where you can park. It’s about a min walk from the front door. Indoor and outdoor seating, is an option. But, outdoor seating has more space; indoor is 2 small tables. Would definitely recommend as I would like to try their...

Love the bagels here - they are always fresh and they warm them for you. And that sweet cream cheese with the little sprinkles - OMG it's so good!!!

There aren't many places that offer bagels locally so I love having this place so near by! The themes of the bagels are just too cute (rainbow, Halloween, Valentines Day) and the service is great. They have a whole outside garden area you can eat your meal at under umbrellas because they inside is small with only a handful of tables.

If their 3 spots in the little covered garage (right before their entrance) are full just pull past their brick wall gate and you will find another parking lot with at least 6-7 spots. It gets very crowded here. Go early so you don't miss out on the...
