Seaside Terrace. — Restaurant in Chatan

When I visit a breakfast cafe, the single, most important thought I have is: "I hope the coffee's good." Seaside Terrace accomplishes this task and much more.

When you walk into the cafe, you are greeted by a bright and cheerful atmosphere with a pleasant reading nook in the corner.

The cafe is family-owned, and it's immediately noticeable. So much care and time was put into every part of the dining experience. I ordered the cream cheese and berries french toast...Coffee included! I need my coffee every morning, but can't always justify the price for coffee in Japan. I was thrilled to get a cup on the house...I was even more surprised when I found myself enjoying the coffee as much as I enjoy a good cup of Aeropress coffee. My compliments to the staff for having such a rare ability to produce a single, excellent cup of joe.

The food was delectable and worth the wait. Everything was cooked to perfection, and cream cheese-stuffed french toast is now my favorite food on the island. The bacon was amazing as well. I can't emphasize how much I enjoyed the food.

After the total experience, I walked away completely satisfied. I can comfidently say that Seaside Terrace is now my favorite place to eat...

I’m not one to leave negative reviews and actually think this is my first time leaving a bad review. This is my second time going here and was disappointed. The first time was fine. Didn’t understand all the hype behind this place because there’s cafes with better food, prices, atmosphere, and customer service. But today’s experience solidified the fact that I won’t be going there again. About 10 minutes after sitting down with my kids I asked a waiter if he could take our order, only for someone to proceed to tell the waiter in Japanese not to take orders right now. The young man tells me in English that they’re so busy, so if I can wait for him to take our order. We wait 15 minutes and then I observe them taking others orders. I’ve been to places where they’re backed up and I understand that… especially for a small business. However, I’ve never not had my order taken. Usually, someone takes your order and lets you know that it’s going to be a bit because they’re busy. I told my kids let’s go elsewhere because I’d rather go somewhere where the customer service and...

I recently visited Seaside Terrace and had an absolutely amazing breakfast experience. I must say that their French toast was exceptional and easily the best I've ever tasted.

The restaurant itself has a lovely atmosphere, with a great seating options and plenty of natural light. The service was also excellent, with friendly and attentive staff who made sure I had everything I needed.

But what really stood out to me was the quality of the food. The French toast was simply outstanding - perfectly cooked and flavored with just the right amount of cinnamon and vanilla.

Overall, I highly recommend Seaside Terrace to anyone looking for an amazing breakfast experience. Their French toast alone is worth the trip, but the restaurant as a whole is definitely worth...
