Pronto — Restaurant in Chiba

There is a staff member at the door who directs you to open seats, and tells you if there are any available. That's good. This place is always crowded when I go and I usually end up getting something to go. So I guess that is my only negative comment about the place, but that is to be expected since the location to both stations is so good. I really like the bakery type section where you can pick your breads. They also have a selection of pasta that can be ordered with set drinks. They accept Rakuten point cards, and there is an Edy charger near the door. The XL drinks and L drinks are the same price, so is usually end up getting a large iced tea. The smoking section in the back seems pretty closed off and the smoke has never bothered me. Food is average to good for a Japanese coffee shop. Don't expect too big...

Like most Pronto cafes, service is fast, polite, and emotionless. Replacing the employees with robots might actually improve the ambiance. The place is always crowded, but the smoking room ventilates cleanly to the outside. There is a hint of tabacco in the air when first entering the shop, but as long as you stay out of the Smoking Room you won't notice after the first...

買い物が終わりブラブラ。

年末に近づき日が暮れると 一段と冷えてきた。

北風も冷たい。

手袋をした手を摩擦しながら 寒い寒いと心の中で言ったつもりが 自然と声にでてたな。

そんな中プロントさんの前を通りかかり熱々のアヒージョを食べたいと思い訪問。

ふと前に食べて美味しかった記憶が。

店に入ると、お客さんは会社帰りの方が多かったかな。

いつもは座らないカウンターに。

立ち飲みのカウンターには慣れてる僕だが、こういうカフェバーは少し緊張するな。

メニューを見てると、 あった！アヒージョ笑

店員さんの動きを見ながらタイミング見計らって プレモル生ビールと海老のアヒージョ、バゲットも合わせて注文。

まず生ビールを気に流し込む。

ぷはぁー 最高だ！

ふぅ～ 染みる。

少しして 海老のアヒージョが到着。

おっ！ 熱々だぁ。

フーフーしながら海老をバゲットに乗せ頬張る。

うまい。 やっぱ大好きだ。

自宅で何度かなんちゃって作ってはみたが、お店で提供してくれる料理には敵わない。

２杯目は、 白州のハイボール

ちょっとカッコつけてみたかった笑

あとメニューを見て写真で気になったポテサラを頼む。

これが正解。 めちゃくちゃうまかった。

大満足！

料理ももちろん良かったが、 カウンターに座り、並べてあるお酒を眺めながら飲むお酒もいいな。 いろんな種類があったな。...
