Matsumura Kanmi Shokudo — Restaurant in Chichibu

Really disappointed that they didn't have any ohagi ready when I got there at 09:30 on a weekend! The norimaki and inarizushi were good. They didn't have any riceballs displayed, but when I asked for umeboshi and sekihan (red bean) ones, they were able to make some without much wait. The sekihan had a bit too much salt for preference, but nothing beats freshly made warm riceballs! Lots of paper and plastic used to package my order up, hoping they'll consider more eco-friendly...

11月三連休の中日の昼、来店。 店頭が忙しいそうで、飲食開店時間は12時10分ぐらいにオープン。 混み合っていたので、当然許せました。 店頭は9時、店内飲食は12時から。 店内は、昭和にタイムスリップした感覚を味わえてお得！また、大きな古時計も現役！ 左側は店頭販売で、左側が店内飲食入口。 オーダー制の後払いシステム。 今回、チャーシューメンの大盛りを注文。 カエシが濃いめの野菜出汁。 濃いめの味なのでサイドメニューの甘味と一緒に召し上がれば更に、大満足だと思います。 麺は細麺でスープは熱々で理想的。 大盛りは一玉以上ある。 チャーシューは小ぶりのロースと脂身がバランス良い。 具材は、刻みネギ、インゲン、味付けメンマ、ナルトで懐かしいラーメン。 見た目通りの味で、裏切らない安心の味。 店頭も店内も年配の方が多く、地元の老若男女に愛されているのが分かる。 接客も声掛けタイミングもベテランのなせる技。 雰囲気、人情も感じられるお店。 定期的に通います！ 店頭の商品が何品か売り切れていたので、早めにお持ち帰りやお見...
