Pasco Hokkaido Premium — Restaurant in Chitose

You don't expect to find a real bakery at an airport, so it was nice to see that Chitose airport has Pasco Hokkaido Premium with its large, fully-stocked selection of sweet and savoury bread. The most popular items seem to be prettily packed loaves of bread and various fish danishes, but you can't resist the chocolate bear bread or their signature melon-flavoured cream buns. 2年前に初めて利用し、10個ほどパンを購入して自宅で食べたのですが、どれも本当に美味しくて感動したのを今でも覚えています。今回、久しぶりに北海道に来ることになり、真っ先に思い浮かんだのがこのお店。あの時の美味しさが忘れられず、絶対にまた立ち寄ろうと決めていました。

北海道のパン屋さんはどこも美味しいのかな？と思い、札幌市内の有名店を2軒巡ってみましたが、正直そこまで感動はなく…。その分、空港でこちらのお店に寄るのが旅の締めくくりとしてとても楽しみでした。

今回も期待通り、いやそれ以上の美味しさで、やっぱりここのパンは特別だなと再確認。北海道旅行の最後に、最高のパンで締めくくることができて大満足です！
