the fish is just really really good!! the portions are huge and we felt full halfway through our meal. the fish is fat and fresh, we tried the kaisen chirashi and grilled mackerel in summer.

the food here is really value for your money i dont think there is anywhere else you can get such high quality fish and such huge portions! we wanted to try this the last time we travelled to dazaifu but they were out of stock so we made sure to come here earlier in our second trip! we will come back here again if we are in fukuoka !!

다자이후 텐만구를 구석구석 돌아다니며 구경하고 난 직후라 배가 엄청 고팠고, “일본에 놀러왔으니까 카이센동을 꼭 먹어봐야겠어!” 라는 생각이 들어서 여기저기 블로그와 구글맵을 열심히 뒤져 찾아보다 알게 된 카이센동집이었어요! 블로그에서 본 내용으로는, 점심과 저녁에 장사하는 가게 위치가 다르다고 했던 것 같아서! 방문 계획이 있으신 분들은 확인 꼭 하고 가셔야 할 것 같아요! 근데 거리는 서로 그렇게 멀리 떨어져있지 않았던것 같기도 하네요..! (2025년도 1월 방문)

무튼, 가게 외부는 진짜 현지맛집? 느낌이었고, 당일 들어온 생선들을 손질하고 계시는 사장님과 직원분들의 모습을 볼 수 있었습니다! 내부는 외부와 또 다른 느낌으로 엄청 밝고 깔끔했어요!

친구랑 방문해서 저는 카이센동을 주문했고! 회를 잘 못 먹는 친구는 생선튀김정식?을 주문했습니다! 아니 근데 진짜 양도 푸짐하고 맛도 너무 맛있었어요!! 특히 카이센동...어떻게 저 양에 저 퀄리티에 1,100¥일 수가...? 진짜 밥 간도 딱 맞고..날마다 달라지는 숙성회도 비린내 전혀 없이 쫀쫀했어요ㅜㅜ 그리고 후식으로 홍차레몬젤리도 주셨습니다ㅜㅜ
