Hamashoji — Restaurant in Fukuoka

So-so food with bad experience. I don't recommend any foreign customers to go here. My girlfriend and I came here and the first question we got asked was where did we come from and when I said Vietnam in English they didn't even understand and asked back that we're not Chinese and when we said no the (supposedly) owner gave us a very weird look and with my little to none Japanese language I managed to say Vietnam in their language and they suddenly busted into laughters which doesn't make any sense and he just kept looking at us the whole we were there which made the whole experience for the both of us. At first i thought the owner to be very stern and not sure i would get a friendly reception, once i saw the Menu had Motsunabe and i was looking for some Hot soup after being on a Boat in the rain fishing i decided to stay. Things were better after i saw him laughing with other customers! Food was very tasty, nice single sized Motsunabe, great Pigs feet! Cold Cold Beer in Insulated mugs! Food was terrible mostly re-heated frozen foods. Also, I’ve been to izakayas several dozen times, always ordered nihonshu, and this was the first time I was ever poured just the amount of the glass(if you know Japanese culture, you know they always pour to the brim of the box to show hospitality)

It was clear that the owner had intention to serve poorly to the foreigners.

And the staff was being obnoxious and loud and only attentive to the local customers.
