Poultry Research Society — Restaurant in Fukuoka

I have a big problem with this restaurant . I made my reservation through table check on the 4 Sep 2025, but since my husband was having food poising and really sick. Hence I ask the hotel staff communicate with the restaurant and ask whether they can treat it as a free cancellation this time . At that time, they rely the hotel staff it's "free cancellation ". After I back to my country, I realise they charge the full amount JPY13200 on my credit card. I ask the hotel staff to contact them again and they denied it was a free cancellation and they "never said that" . So the hotel staff come back to me and explained that "the restaurant means regular cancellation is free" , for my situation obviously is not regular cancellation and it's under special condition , they should have reconfirm me whether I really want to cancel if there is a charge , so the restaurant just cancel the booking through table check directly which cause me a charge now, which the restaurant staff wasn't provide clearly explanation at that time , and it's totally misleading and not responsible at all . This is totally unacceptable . When I try to call the restaurant, since the staff couldn't communicate with English , they just simply cut my line. When I translate in Japanese and send them a message on instagram , they refuse to answer .

Also for table check , don't expect they will help you. Because there is only "AI" reply, and they always ask you go back to the restaurant. Without proper communication, how can I talk to the...

I think it's a very nice and cohesive shop. I arrived at the store shortly before it opened, so when I told the store about it, I was pleasantly guided to the store. (※Thank you.) Starting with drinks, I asked for various dishes such as salads and meat miso peppers to pick up while waiting for yakitori to be baked, but they are all delicious! !! The highball with plenty of lemon is also impressive. Then the meal continues to the protagonist yakitori. You can see that all the yakitori you provide are carefully processed and stabbed on skewers. The last ramen was also very delicious. It was a treat.

とっても良い感じでまとまっているお店だと思います。 お店に開店少し前に到着してしまった為、お店の方にその旨をお話しすると気持ちよく店内に案内されました。（※有難うございました。） ドリンクに始まりサラダや肉みそピーマンなど焼き鳥を焼いて頂く待ち時間に摘まめる一品を色々とお願いしましたが、どれも旨い！！ レモンたっぷりのハイボールも印象に残ります。 それから食事は、主役の焼き鳥へと続きます。 提供して頂く焼き鳥はどの部位も丁寧に処理されて串に刺されているのがなんとなく分かります。 最後の〆のラーメンもとても美味しく頂きました。 ご馳走様でした。

Updated 2021.10. Corona's state of emergency was finally resolved and I visited. Delicious as ever! !! Since then, it's still a popular shop. (Eating and drinking may be limited to 2 hours.) Even if you order something other than the skewers you always order, it's delicious! !! smile I will drop by again soon. It was a treat today as well.

2021.10.更新 コロナの緊急事態宣言もようやく解け、訪問させて頂きました。 相変わらずのおいしさ！！ それから相変わらずの人気店。（飲食は、２時間制限でお願いされる場合があります。） いつも注文する串もの以外を頼んでも、美味しい！！笑 また近いうちに寄らせて頂きます。 今日もご馳走様でした。

2022.03.更新 蔓延防止が解けたので、訪問させて頂きました。 スタッフ皆さんの気遣いと迅速な対応は、全く変わらす。お客様も午後9時頃だと云うのにお店の前には席待ちの方々が沢山並んでいらっしゃいました。 相変わらずの人気店ぶりに脱帽です。 今日も沢山頂きました。 ご馳走様でした。

2022.03. Update I visited because the spread prevention was solved. The care and prompt response of all the staff will change completely. Even though the customers said it was around 9 pm, there were many people waiting for their seats in front of the store. It's the first time in a popular store to take off my hat. I received a lot today. It was a treat.

When we came, we were advised there was a 30 minute wait for a table. Convenient vending machines outside the door but the wait was shorter than expected. The staff didn't speak English, however they were lovely and very accommodating. There was a mandatory 5 skewer 'trust the chef' order per person. It was priced reasonably. With the use of translation apps and patience from the staff we explained an onion allergy which they checked with us multiple times to confirm they understood the issue and my husband's meals were safe for him. We were offered a cabbage with ponzu starter when we sat. The skewers arrived individually as we worked through ordering meals on the ordering tablet at the table.
