Rec Coffee Tenjinminami — Restaurant in Fukuoka

Rec Coffee is already a famous cafe among coffee lovers. I visited Rec Coffee Tenjinminami branch after getting a recommendation from a friend who also loves coffee. I visited around 3pm on Sunday, but all the tables were already full and the line to order was long. I was lucky that there was an empty seat at the bar table, so I was able to grab a seat right away. The server brought the Iced Americano and Basque Cheesecake I ordered directly to my seat. The coffee tasted good, and the Basque Cheesecake was so good that I honestly thought about having another Basque Cheesecake. One thing that was disappointing was that they don't accept credit cards, which I hope will be improved...

I came to this cafe because my friend was craving for something sweet but the tiramisu was all sold out in the pm, we only ordered one item and were going to eat it n leave immediately.BUT we were treated in an unfriendly way, the staff would collectively and rudely tell you that everyone has to order an item or else you're not allowed to sit in the place, why don't you explain carefully or put up a notice when you order then?Today is my fasting day and this is very sad for me. My friend and I will not be returning to this store in the future.This review is only for the service aspect, maybe the coffee is good but I wouldn't...

Nice coffee, let me say that first, but...

Purchased enough coffee beans that I qualified for a free coffee, as per their signage displayed at the counter. I went in next day to redeem my free coffee, as I was given 24 hours to redeem it by presenting my receipt as a 'ticket'. Received my takeaway coffee, but immediately noticed that it was less than half full...asked the staff about it and they just said 'half size' (with the language barrier it was futile to argue the point) Misleading and just a disappointing experience that leaves a sour taste. Needless to say I'll be getting my daily coffee elsewhere out...
