I love gyudon and if you want to get one fast and cheap, this is the place to go. I got a small order for ¥380 and my partner got a curry one with beef plus salad and miso soup. Salad is good as you can use your preferred sauces which are readily available on the table. Gyudon and curry rice are so-so, not bad bad for the price. It’s something i can order again although i’ve had better. Ordering is simple, use the tablet on the table on your preferred language, food is served to you (fast), then you pay on the counter bringing your temporary receipt when you’re done. It’s not “clean as you go” practice so you just leave your plates and bowls on the table when you leave unlike it matsuya.

Who doesn't love gyudon? It's near my work, it's cheap and it tastes ok. The trifecta of requirements have been met. I wouldn't recommend this to someone who's here for travels and looking for a taste of Japanese cuisine, this is more for the folks who just need to put some quick food in their belly and move on...
