One night in Fukuoka and I’m so tremendously happy we found this amazing restaurant and we’re able to grab reservations. The staff were so kind with us, even though we were only fluent in very very basic Japanese (they spoke better English than we did Japanese). The wine was phenomenal and probably the best I’ve had while in Japan, and the tasting menu was out of this world. really recommend the waygu, it was just perfection the way they prepared it. Lost count of how many perfect layers of thin pasta layers were baked into the lasagna. 10/10 all around. I’d travel 18 hours again just to go back to this...
Read moreGood atmosphere and super nice staff. Place seemed non-smoking (at least nobody was smoking) which was good because we had our child with us. Nice selection of wines and the staff was helpful in explaining them too.
The main menu is available in English but specials and temporary selections are in Japanese. Food was great too. Our kid had the spaghetti bolognese made on wagyu beef which was so tender and delicate. We also had a variety of izakaya small dishes which were creative and tasteful.
