SUSHI MIYOSHINO すしみよしの — Restaurant in Fukuoka

I am writing this a year later. I came to remember the great experience I had here and did not find it in the list of places I had reviewed. I had to rectify. The food was great, I had a menu where the chef decided. Great people. I do not remember the price, but at the time I was happy to pay it. Highly recommend. Big downside, as with many things in Japan, it is a small place and you might be unable to bring everyone you love to share this great value experience with....

Cozy, intimate sushi restaurant with a lot of character! The sushi was extremely fresh and was absolutely delicious. My husband and I opted for the 6 piece omakase. The owner/sushi master worked around my husband’s allergies and prepared so many delicious pieces of nigiri. There is an English menu, and used google translate to speak with the owner. Great place if you are in the area. We had 6 and 8 pieces of sushi and a sashimi platter. Very fresh! More importantly the owner/chef is so cute! With 8 seater at the bar, guests are very friendly. An older Japanese couple sit next to us try to chat with us (because we don’t speak much Japanese and they don’t speak English at all) but still offered us Shochu to drink from their bottle.
