Sushi Yamanaka — Restaurant in Fukuoka

A very basic sushi restaurant that served exclusively sushi.

The restaurant is on top of a mall along with many other restaurants to choose from. One of our friends was craving sushi and this was probably one of the only restaurants serving sushi there. The lunch menu was limited to sushi sets of 8 pcs, 10pcs, 11pcs, and 12 pcs. Amongst our group, we ordered 8pcs, 10pcs and 12pcs set right at the sushi bar.

The sushi was ok, had better before but it wasn't nasty. Really nothing spectacular about it even though it was made right in front of us. The fish they used was average, and i thought the sushi rice could use some improvements since it was a bit falling apart. The uni (sea urchin) was quite fresh but that was probably the only thing I found good during the meal.

If my friend wasn't craving for sushi, I would easily have chosen...

●寿司は小さい、手毬寿司なみ ●メニューの内容も、これだけ？という感じ。季節によるとはいえ、元から少ない ●提供は遅い ●味はぼやけている ●接客もいまいち ●カウンターにいる板前は大きな声でよく喋る喋る ●価格は高いわりに鮮度もこだわりもない。高級を謳っているのなら、プロとして学び直した方がいいと思う。恥ずかしくないのかと。

そこら辺の回転寿司の方がネタの種類、質、値段ともにはるかに上回っていて、美味しいと思う よくあれでお店が続いているなという印象

楽しみにして行ったのに あまりに残念すぎて 嫌な思い出になりました。 ショックと怒りが強いです。 2度といきませんし、誰にもおすすめしたくないです。 他のお店と迷っている方や記念日などで利用したい方、このコメントを読んだら考え直してもらいたいです。 今後も観光客目当てで頑張ってください。
