This shopping centre is right next to the JR Hakata station, and brimming with plenty of lovely things. If you're looking for restaurants, take a ride up the lifts or elevators to the 9th and 10th floors that are especially open til late for dining. There you will walk past all sorts of restaurants with the most incredible plastic replicas of dishes served within.
Two places of dining I enjoyed was Shop 5 of the Kitte floor guide on Level 10 '江戸川' where the speciality is the unagi/smoked eel, and Shop 8 '本膳庵' where the most delicious soba and pork culets are served, and for a very reasonable price. As typical, the service of the waitstaff is very polite and welcoming, despite the language barrier (you will find a 'thumbs up' is universal anywhere though!). While some restaurants and shops do not have romanised names (such as the two restaurants I mentioned above) the restaurants have English menus available. That, or take a picture of the plastic replica of what you'd like to eat in the displays and just show them :)
Some restaurants and shops have tax free or discounts for those who show a foreign passport, so bring along your passport and ask the staff. Some restaurants will also display a card at the front as well...
