Dining at Zenzai was an unforgettable experience! Trying the live squid was definitely something new for us, and it was both exciting and delicious. Not to be missed if you are staying in the Watanabe-dori area!

A hole-in-the-wall restaurant run by very friendly chefs who tried to use English to recommend dishes. We had their Motsu-nabe (Miso) with champon noodles, and the stew was rich but not too overpowering, while the offal was tender.

The atmosphere was relaxed and you could stay as long as you wanted. A definite gem.

I had the chance to try pufferfish（カワハギ活造り)sashimi for the first time, which is quite rare but absolutely delicious. The squid sashimi(ヤリイカ活造り) and horse sashimi were also excellent. The chicken hot pot was incredibly tasty as well. The staff were exceptionally friendly and explained how to savor these delicacies. It truly is an outstanding...
