This was a great meal. Very reasonable price and a good size. The only thing I would say is that the restaurant was a bit grungy and run down. I think that added to the atmosphere though and I had no doubt that the chefs took pride in their cooking. Even though they did not have an English menu, the chefs helped indicate what each dish was and genuinely tried to help us order what we wanted. They didn’t speak much English and we don’t speak much Japanese but we managed alright. The beef bone broth was amazing and was very creamy. It’s very rich - which might be a turnoff for some people.
