I was surprised that there is no more Salad bar anymore. Once, the cafe is known for its salad bar, but now, there is no reason to go anymore. I ordered a beef salad which was a sad serving of salad and few slices of razor thin beef cuts. Preciously, you could have the same salad for free with any lunch set. Many reviews mentioned the atmosphere. It was nothing worth mentioning. just some bare setting with dirty countertops and sides. i wonder if they only clean the top of the tables and nothing else? playing some indie music does not make it 'hip' or 'cool'. I suggest placing more plants and try not to act like something it is not. visit this place to impress anyone that u have money to throw away, and time to waste.

Found Kokon by accident in Fukuyama, and oh so thankful for that! Lovely atmosphere, personal decoration, friendly staff, and very good dishes: fresh, savoury ingredients cooked very well. We had a cheese and sausage pizza and rosemary chicken breast braised on the skin, both excellent. The open "French buffet" features seasonal vegetables cooked "local way", is a very nice addition to the whole.
