Kitchen Farm F's gate — Restaurant in Furano

We went inside to ask for a table nicely and surely I got the impression, they didn't cater to foreigners (when I spoke English, unable to practice my Japanese as I lived a long time ago and forgotten words already) and I was with my partner (Singaporean- Chinese- not sure if significant in this review as I have read with Evelyn C's review - she was also treated rudely) , as we were shoo-ed away (mimicking to go outside and wait in a demeaning manner - like signalling to a dog). It was the lady with black glasses.. Hey, we are not dumb or stupid, maybe you can just show or direct us if you cannot communicate in English and treat everybody with RESPECT.. When I tried to sit outside (no people are dining at the area) - they said I cannot. Thought I was on a different country as this was not so typical for a Japanese to be rude and impolite. Didn't want to waste my time and energy on this predicament. There was a communication barrier but can please say (nicely) or post also in English outside or at the door if you do not...

Well I’d like to share an experience but we were turned away. Although it advertises opening hours and closure times and menus on the website, seems they only serve ice cream, and lunch is not allowed. In the time we were there, 2 to 3 minutes 6 other customers were also turned away. I wonder if it will be there next year? Seems a rather expensive operation to have so many staff serving soft serve ice cream. In a fraction of time 8 people were very unhappy. We ate here 7 out of 10 days in Furano, both dine-in and takeaway. It’s a great cozy, no fuss restaurant serving delicious Japanese homestyle cooking. We had the tempura, katsudon, butadon, oyakudon, and ebi fry with egg served on a hot plate - everything was good. Our kids loved the tempura and the fresh Furano ice cream!
