Food here was good however their service can be improved.

Upon arrival they had our table of 4 setup with a pot of shabu soup. However we werent very hungry and decided to just order 1 shabu shabu set, and add more ingredients later depending on the portion. We also ordered some izakaya dishes to share.

The service staff had issues with us ordering just 1 set for 4 pax. They even replaced our pot of soup which was already simmering there with a pot filled with just half the amount of soup! Ridiculous service?

Eventually we ordered alot of extra pork shoulders and beef wagyus, and side dishes which probably cost more than a couple of shabu shabu sets, and we had to ask the service staff to top up the soup as it wasnt enough to cook all our meats.

Not sure what's with the Japanese hospitality here, might have been frozen by the...

We have initially chosen this place due to very positive reviews. The reality really surprised us, but in the bad way. We came in 3, requested one menu of shabu - shabu, some drinks, one veg set and one ramen. Honestly, I don´t get, what followed. We were asked to order at minimum 3 x full shabu - shabu set, despite the fact, one of us is pure vegan. Place was filled by max 20 %. No possibility to get our wished dishes, it was clearly said: 3 x times shabu -shabu...We have fully rejected and left. Even if we would take 1 menu and just a drink what would be a problem ? Zero flexibility, Zero UX, Zero customer understanding. From my point of view: Avoid it if you can, hostile...

We came here as a group of 3 on our recent snow trip and had the shabu shabu for dinner. They recommend one set per person, we ended up getting 2 sets which include some meat and vegetables (1x pork shoulder and 1x lamb) and additional portions of just each type of meat, plus some tofu, mushrooms and ramen. This was a delicious meal that we really enjoyed, having the ramen at the end with the broth infused with the flavours of the different meat and vegetables was so good that we finished every last drop.
