Superb service and delicious food. Traditional Japanese stuff, small portions but lots of courses, including a bit of everything from sashimi to Hida beef and pork. Very friendly staff, who will explain clearly about the food, as well as the historical importance of the building (it’s 140 years old and used to be a lumber warehouse that would ready wood to be shipped off down the river). Really nice atmosphere, we left filled and relaxed. Note that if you’re here because you’re staying at Juhachiro across the road, the meal is included but drinks are extra.
