This place is so nice I visited twice. At around 20:00 on a Tuesday and 22:00 on a Wednesday it was slightly busy but it was fine to get a seat. The first night I went there were some foreigners like me but on the second night I was the only one. The owner is very nice and speaks OK English. The menu is also translated.
There are some different types of ramen to try (Shoyu, Miso, Shio, and some unique ones) but I ordered the Hakodate Salt Corn Butter each visit because it was so good. The first night I thought it was so delicious I finished it very quickly. On my second visit I remembered to stop and order kaedama so I can enjoy it better. I love kaedama option!
It is also a “bar” so the owner will request that you order a drink too. But the prices are reasonable and it will be a very enjoyable...

Read moreThe sign out front says that drinks need to be ordered only after 9 PM, yet we were still pressured and the worker tried to make us feel guilty for not ordering any drinks even though it was before 9. If they still expect you to order drinks before 9, then they should change the sign out front instead of trying to force customers to buy drinks when they don’t have to.
