Really cool spot with a lot of potential. I was a bit disappointed that the beer wasn't local, but the beer they brought in was definitely unique.

I enjoyed our fried chips. My husband wanted more to eat, but the menu didn't include a description of each sandwich. While the staff are friendly and very helpful (and speak English well), my husband didn't want to bother them inquiring about what's on each item. So he just didn't order a sandwich (though other reviews mention how delicious they are).

Another note: please check the wifi passwords posted around the room. The first one we saw was off by...

Outstanding sandwiches 🥖 !

Katsu and Tofu & Avocado were made with love, the bread was perfect and all ingredients complimented each other.

Highly recommend trying the Dark Lemonade, so delicious. Coffee was lovely too!

We also ate a yummy cinnamon scroll and the most devine chocolate chip cookie. Delicious!

Hoteiya team were lovely and extremely welcoming!

Other things to note…. 📝 HSP is on the menu! 📝 Very accommodating to English speakers. 📝 Hoteiya Sandwhich Stand wouldn’t look / taste out of place in Melbourne,...

Tried the full suite of sandwiches during my month in Hakodate and enjoyed every single one of them!

I came back Tuesday to say bye but it was closed unfortunately. Thank you for the delicious food. Thank you for the chill vibe. Thank you for the good music. And thank you for tolerating my puzzling or reading books for extending...

The chips were wonderfully fresh and crispy. All in all this was great value for money. I also tried my friends IPA and it was delicious. Highly recommended
