We went while waiting for the pirate ship since it was just a short 5 min walk away. We were very hungry since that was our first meal all day (at 3pm ish) the restaurant was very empty so we were a little sussed out at first but I was very wrong. It felt very much like a tradition Japanese dinner, nothing upscale if that’s what you’re looking for. They take card payment which was great :) The food was great, a good variety with the set meals and the view was AMAZING. It was around golden hour when we went and seeing the lake and the ships is something I’m going to remember for a long time. +bonus points for the traditional tatami floor seating, super cool Japanese dinning experience that I don’t think I could experience at the same price...

Excellent meals. Our table overlooked the lake where the boats were coming in. Beautiful view with good food. We had the tempura cutlet meal sets and udon meal sets in our group. Tempura sauce was yummy. Salad dressing was amazing.

FYI, don't rely on Google for hours of operation as they may close early. With little options here we were going to eat here again the next day, but they closed by 3:40 when we showed up hoping for another great meal. We have found this to be a common theme in small towns while...

Not a fancy place, but 50 items on the menu, plus lots of drinks. There are set courses, bowls, including curry rice for ¥880. Lots of a la carte items, including oden for ¥600 that my wife said was quite good. Most items in the ¥1000-2000 range. Hot coffee ¥400. Compared to local hotel prices, this restaurant is a terrific bargain. There is bench seating, tables and tatami mats. Menu on 4 languages with photos, so you have a good idea what...
