My first hamburger steak experience was here! You order using the kiosk and it outputs tickets for each item with a number on it. So if you order like 5 items then it will give you 5 tickets.

Food: I got the cheese hamburger steak and a strawberry soda drink. The hamburger steak has an American cheese on top and Parmesan cheese that you can grate yourself. It comes with salad and bowl of rice. You need to pick it up yourself.

Service: This is completely self serve so your number will appear on the right side that it’s ready then you will need to go to the front and look at the front for your meal number then they will check and confirm. The utensils will be near the front tables behind you to get yourself. Once you finish eating just return the tray to the front on your left side.

Was touring my way around the spectacular Hakone National Park in Japan, and we decided to take a pause here for lunch. It was a typical National Park style counter service restaurant. We ordered one thing to split, so we could hurry up and get back on the course.

We ordered a piece of roast chicken, next to an omurice style omelet, with a bubbling vegetable stew still cooking over an open flame, and a small side salad. Comparing it to similar restaurants at similar places in the US, quality was much better. Surprise surprise.
