Came here to grab some breakfast and it was full. We had to wait for a little while to get a table, but it was worth the wait. The food was really good and staff was really nice. I ordered the pumpkin pie and it was so good! It had chunks of pumpkin in the pie and it wasn’t really sweet, which is how I like it. The coffee I ordered was also good. My friends ordered the breakfast set with the honey toast. I tried a piece of the thick toast with some honey and that was really good too. They also sell some breads so purchased a couple of breads to take home. I felt that the prices were reasonable for what you get. It looks like a perfect spot to grab coffee and cake in the afternoon too. The cheesecake looked good! English menu is available. They accept credit cards. The shop is pretty small. 2 tables with 4 seats and then 3 tables with two seats. When we were done, there was no line so maybe it’s all about timing. I can’t wait to go back and try the apple pie and the French toast!

Beautiful little café serving a large variety of sandwiches as their main menu item. You are able to add extra toppings like cheeses, ham and chicken for a small price. The sandwiches are toasted perfectly and the fillings are so incredibly flavorful. As well as sandwiches there are a lots of baked goods such as cookies and different pastries avaliable at the front of the store. Bakery Shima is a lovely place with incredibly kind staff. (the photos are of two different times I went)

I'm here in Japan with my daughter in July, and this place was an amazing escape from the heat. Everything else we were finding to eat was fried and hot, and that did not sound good when it's 100°F and 80% humidity outside. I saw this place and saw that it had cold sandwiches and bread with lemon jam, and it was so yummy. The lemon jam was so good, I bought a few jars to bring home. And the seasonal apricot soda was delicious.

Coffee & Bakery Shima is the kind of place that makes you feel instantly welcome. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a cozy, local charm that sets it apart from larger chains. The coffee is rich and aromatic—clearly brewed with care—and pairs perfectly with their freshly baked treats.

Their pastries are absolutely delicious, from the flaky croissants to the sweet, perfectly balanced cakes. You can tell everything is made with high-quality ingredients and lots of love. The staff are friendly, attentive, and happy to share recommendations if you’re not sure what to try.

Whether you’re stopping by for a quiet morning coffee, a mid-day break, or a sweet snack, Shima hits the spot every time. Definitely worth a visit if you’re...

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Kissa Shima totally saved the day! We were wandering around looking for a lunch spot with our family in Japan and couldn’t figure out where to go — then we stumbled upon Kissa Shima, and wow, were we blown away. The sandwich was absolutely fantastic, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service was top-notch. To top it all off, they had Coke Zero on the rocks, which was such a fun and unexpected treat. We had an all-around wonderful time — highly recommend this place if you’re...
