This tiny bakery by the ferry terminal near Miyajimaguchi station is a great spot to fill your craving for carbs/bread.

We got the curry bun, miyajima oyster and spinach toast, and the mushroom tartine. At the time of writing, we only ate the curry bun, but it was so good that I felt I just had to leave a positive review.

I’ve been in Japan for few days and I must add, getting breakfast has been a major hurdle. It’s hard to eat Japanese style breakfast, especially for my kid! This place is hands down the best bakery in 8 prefectures I’ve visited! I went to fancy places, mid level places, even tried my luck at 7 eleven! No luck!!! This is the spot!

This is a really cute bakery that has a load of different delicious baked foods! Theres also a little sit down area if you want to eat in. The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is because the drink menu isn't very big, but it is really good value. Some of the drinks are discounted if you buy food. Also highly recommend checking out their discounted section for the stuff they didn't sell the day before, not as fresh but still delicious! A great breakfast place before heading...
