MIYAJIMA CAFE — Restaurant in Hatsukaichi

When I first walked in to order take out, I was a little confused. Apparently I am meant to sit down and order at a countertop for take out. It is a strange system.

The food didn’t take too long to come out, which was good.

The amount of fries was very very small for the price, but the taste was good, aside from one being undercooked.

The burger didn’t have much flavor and I was pretty disappointed.

Overall, I think this place is best for tourists who want a nice view and atmosphere, but I wouldn’t go there...

The most delightful experience - the lovely smile and efforts of the staff- they made us feel so welcome. Such a pretty outlook and so clean - we had a delicious lunch that had all of the trimmings eg miso soup, salads and even some salmon. Walked by this place on the way back from Miyajima Island. I did not have a chance to try the food or coffee here. Just seemed like a nice shop from the outside.
