Came here on two separate occasions two years apart. While most people go for their anago meshi (eel rice) and it was good, I would actually recommend their soba and udon. Both were excellent with the right noodle texture and you can still enjoy some sides like eel, tempura or oysters. Cold noodles are especially refreshing on a hot day. Staff were also very welcoming and friendly, making time for a bit of small talk.

I went because she recommended me. It is located in the middle of the shopping district and is bustling with many customers. "Anagomeshi" was very tasty and delicious. We only pay cash. Because it is popular, I think there may be times to stand in line, but it won't take long.

The oyster egg bowl turned out to be a bit disappointing. The dish was quite plain; the rice was overcooked and too wet. However, the place’s ambiance is top-notch, and the old lady at the cashier was so sweet.

The unagi is not the usual one we triee, it's not as fatty and it's not grilled until it's almoat all darkened outside, so to me it lacks a fragrant but still the unagi itself is good in taste, just that i prefer the one i had in kyushu more.

However, the oyster is TO DIE FOR, it's a must to try, especially the grilled and fry(with less...
