The food was very good – definitely a great choice on the island. The restaurant seems to be run by a local family, which gives it a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Since we were a group of four, we couldn’t sit together at first, but before our meal was served, the lady kindly rearranged the seating so we could enjoy it as a group.

The “extra spicy” pasta wasn’t really worth the additional charge, as I couldn’t feel much difference compared to the regular one. However, they do offer a nice spicy sauce on the side – although, like in many places here, the spice level is quite mild. Personally, I enjoyed it most when mixed with mayonnaise as a topping.

All in all, I highly recommend this restaurant. It was a wonderful food experience and absolutely...

We came here just for a few hours after visiting Hiroshima.

Sadly there was low tide so the floating gate was not floating at all. 🥲

To deal with that sadness we decided to have some Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki. We chose the first spot that had it. It is quite a small place and the menu is very simple. The ladies working there were also very kind and funny, as they tried to show some people from the group how to use the chopsticks properly. This is the first time I saw that.

TL;DR excellent food for 5-6€ and very funny and kind staff working there. I would always come...

We were attended perfectly, even accommodating us to new tables when available (we were eating at the counter). We ordered 2 special okonomiyaki and one regular, and the taste of the three of them was spectacular. The oysters were really good, with 4 on top of the okonomiyaki (I understand, from what I've seen in other restaurants, that oysters are really expensive around that area), and they were really tasty, blending perfectly with the okonomiyaki. Also, they have Yebisu, a perfect mix if...
