We stumbled upon Miyajima Coffee while exploring the island and decided to pop in for a break. What a delightful little café! It’s cozy, warm, and just the kind of place you want to sit down at after walking through the island’s attractions.

The coffee was excellent—freshly brewed and aromatic. I had a pour-over, and it was smooth and well-balanced. The café takes its coffee seriously, and it shows in the quality of the brew. They also offer some light pastries and cakes, which paired perfectly with the drinks.

The atmosphere was relaxed, and the decor had a simple yet stylish charm. Staff were friendly and although English was limited, they were welcoming and helpful.

A lovely little gem on Miyajima if you’re looking for a peaceful place to recharge with a quality...

The Hiroshima area seems to have such a dearth of independent coffee shops selling espresso based coffee that I was just very pleased this place existed at all. They have a La Marzocco, so they're clearly taking the whole thing seriously. Revisited December 2017 and thought the coffee was better than my previous visit, maybe was just an off day before. A very respectable macchiato this time.

Nice interior with some interesting recycled furniture apparently from a park in France.

Please go here, and not to the location of a certain American coffee chain which has sadly opened up across the street. It's a vote for independent shops, local businesses and...

Sadly, the coffee was not that good, especially because the same day we had an excellent cup of coffee in Hiroshima. They also seemed to have a wide variety of other drinks. Nevertheless, the location of Miyajima Coffee is great, you can stop there on your way from the Miyajima port to Itsukushima shrine and also gives you opportunity to walk around some interesting shops on the street. I'm not a big fan of the interior, it was very cold and the furniture was not comfortable - it kind of felt like they were in the middle of renovation? so maybe that was the case. Anyhow, it's not amazing but it is probably the best you can find in...

Hole-in-a-wall coffee shop located on Miyajima. I got the matcha affogato. They also have the original affogato which is vanilla ice cream and a shot of espresso, and a chocolate version, but I went with matcha instead. The ice cream was really smooth. It worked well with the bitterness of the matcha. There were some corn flakes cereal on the bottom of the cup. Two pieces of walnuts on the side. It is a coffee shop, so they can make a variety of coffee drinks. Order, pay, then grab your drink when it is ready. Take out is welcome. They take major credit cards. The sitting area is big and clean.

I recently visited Miyajima Coffee, and I was absolutely blown away by their coffee and ice cream! The coffee was rich and aromatic, perfectly brewed to highlight the unique flavors of the beans. It was the ideal pick-me-up while exploring the beautiful island. But the highlight for me was definitely the ice cream! It was incredibly creamy and delicious, with a variety of flavors that were both refreshing and indulgent. Enjoying a scoop while sitting in their cozy café made for a perfect afternoon treat. If you’re in Miyajima, don’t miss out on this delightful spot!
