Nice open-air indoor-outdoor shopping experience in central Hiroshima between Sogo department store and the Rihga Royal hotel. Great photo op on the arched bridge to the main platform, some outdoor seating next to the giant screen in front. Angel wings at the front are a signature look.
Would be so much better if there were an outdoor cafe on the open terraces to enjoy the open air. But there is a good local vegetable focused buffet (NO NO BUDO) which has an open air dining terrace to enjoy a view of the adjacent Hiroshima castle. The open terrace below the buffet is open to the public to enjoy the views anytime.
Cleo hair salon is a well-designed shop with nice staff and good knowledge of international hair. No no budo buffet, the soba restaurant and the Vietnamese restaurant are all good stops for nice meals.
My ideal vision for this facility would be to have 1 trendy coffee shop on the 2nd floor open terrace, and a craft beer & coctail bar on the 3rd floor open terrace on comfy chairs (not plastic) seating. The kids play facilities are great for families, but as a shopper I am never interested in buying anything from any of the shops here- sports gym, expensive and small sizes clothing shops... lacks appeal.
It is a nicely designed space and building which could be so...

The 6th floor sky terrace is open to the public and has a nice view of Hiroshima Castle. Also some play equipment and patio seating...
Read moreSpacious eight-story shopping complex. Food court is all the way at the top, which I thought was a little strange - but the selection of restaurants was terrific. Escalators were a little odd in their locations - not as orderly as I am used to - which made it a little difficult getting from floor to floor. Shops inside...
