This is a “highball” themed izakaya, they are a chain associated with Suntory/Yamazaki. The whisky purists would probably not approve but some highballs they make are quite tasty. If you still can’t agree to that they can serve you a whisky the way you prefer, a Yamazaki 12 is 1400jpy which is not bad. Prices excl tax, and there’s a cover charge for 500jpy pp (clearly shown in the menu), you can help yourselves to free nuts/rice...

We were there at the time of a national holiday, so maybe that's why they did not have enough staff, but the waiting time was ridiculous. Therer were only one bartender and one waitress for a full bar. We almost walked out because we did not even get to order for about 25 minutes after being seated. The drinks were so so, nothing to write home about. Would not recommend this bar based on this experience, but I guess it might be better...
