A shrine where locals feel strong bonding, therefore please don't forget to pay respect. This shrine was destroyed by the atomic bomb.Though the shrine itself was damaged severely, stone lanterns survived and stands till this day. Such an interesting shrine with a great history in Hiroshima dating back to when the white papers if the shrine worked as a kind of lighthouse to passing ships to avoid running into it - which gave the shrine it's name SHIRAKAMI for white...
