I stayed 6 nights in the Deluxe Private Cabin at the Capsule Hotel Cube. ||||Firstly the check in process was 24 hours which was a great relief as I arrived late in the night. After which, I was handed in my keys, a map of the hotel, and a list of rules. In my room, I was greeted with a basket of amenities (samples of shampoo, moisturizer, comb, pajamas, hand and body towels, room slippers). The basket can be replaced daily.||||Next, to reduce noise in the cabins, the showering and toilets area are placed outside and away from the sleeping area. For the showering area, there was a separate 'dry' area where you can take off and on your clothing before and after entering the shower. Both areas were clean and well maintained. If I did not recall wrongly, there was 3 showers and 4 toilets. For my 6 nights there, I did not had to wait to shower or to use the toilets even during the peak periods of 8 to 9 pm at night. There was also plenty of hair dryers provided at the washing area as well as cups to brush my teeth. ||||Lastly, the sleeping area was generally quiet and designed to be quiet. A TV was provided in the room with headphones so that your neighbors would not be disturbed. My neighbors were generally very quiet except for the occasional folding of the door and footsteps. My only gripe was that it was a fold-able door (photo: View from inside the room) with zero sound cancellation. I had a night where a few girls came back drunk and was giggling. However, it lasted for only about ten minutes before they quieten down. The fold-able door is also not lockable but there is a wardrobe where you can lock your valuables (Photo: View of room). ||||Overall, I enjoyed my stay very much. But do note, this is a budget hotel, and do manage your expectations. Nonetheless at this price point, I do not think I can find any other place with a better value. And bonus tips, when I was there, the hotel was offering a delightful 500 yen breakfast set (Photo: Breakfast set at Nakau) at Nakau, which is 1 min away and just across the street from the hotel. Do check it out for their breakfast sets. Nagarekawa is also a 5 min walk away from the hotel which is a...
Read moreI recently stayed at Capsule Hotel Cube Hiroshima for a few nights—this was my second visit. Overall, it’s a great place, but a few small issues have started to surface.Positives:The staff are wonderful—friendly and attentive. You receive fresh towels, pajamas, and cleaning amenities daily.Good location, making it convenient for exploring Hiroshima.Areas for Improvement:Limited showers: Only three per floor, shared by many guests. At peak times, you might wait over an hour, and by then, the showers can be a bit dirty (e.g., hair left behind).Laundry bottleneck: Each floor has just one washer and dryer. The dryer is especially slow—it took four 30-minute cycles just to dry six t-shirts.Vending machines lack variety: No cola or Pepsi—just beer and water. Not a major issue, but worth noting.Fridge access is inconvenient: The communal fridge is behind reception, meaning you must hand over items to staff. A small fridge on each floor would be much more practical.Worn-out mattresses: The memory foam mattresses have sunk in from overuse. They haven’t been flipped or replaced, which leads to uncomfortable sleep and back/hip pain.Final Thoughts:Despite these downsides, I would stay here again. However, guests should be prepared for some minor inconveniences. If the hotel made a few simple upgrades—like replacing mattresses, improving laundry facilities, and adding accessible fridges—it could easily be one of the best capsule hotels...
Read moreThis place for the price cant be beat. It was much cleaner than expected for the price....probably cleaner than 95% of the hotels in the United States. Great location close to many bars, restaurants, and train station. Easy access to catching a taxi if desired.
The Good: No need to being soap, shampoo, or conditioner. Please see pictures of the bathroom, shower, and amenities. In your personal lockable locker, they give you a bag with pajamas, slippers, hand towel, and towel. You lock the locker by your room key lanyard. You also have a shoe locker for shoes when you enter the community floor you're staying on. The capsuel had a place to charge your phone, control the "fan", and a small shelf for wallet, water bottle, etc. The drink machines had plenty to choose from. The common area had a tv, microwave, and eating area. They also had a coin operated washing machine/dryer. If you smoke ( I dont), they have a seperate smoking room.
Improvement Items: The bed is fairly thin and not very comfortable but for the price it's hard to complain. The pillow rates the same. It did get a little warm in my capsuel on the 6th floor even with the fan on high. I ended up leaving the capsuel shade pulled down only half way.
I would definitely...
