We are a family of four, well-travelled and used to eating at a variety of restaurants throughout the world.
I have refrained from writing this review for two days as I didn't want to sound over-emotional.
Our entree order of three dips plus bread cost 1800 yen. The bread tasted as if it had been in the fridge and was certainly not as soft and fresh as we have come accustomed to. The mixed dips were so small and fortunately served on a small plate.
Each dip could have comfortably been eaten with one spoonful. Even if the meal was for free there is no way I could justify serving such a small quantity. The main meal of the Assorted Kebab was very tasty but reinforces the word small in my mind.
The total cost of the meal was approximately 4800 yen, and the four of us left disappointed, hungry, and with a strong feeling of having been taken advantage of.

Read moreWe struggled to find a halal restaurant in Hiroshima, however stumbled across this lovely Turkish joint not too far away from a street car station. The owner welcomed us with open arms and nice hospitality to his restaurant
After placing our order, we received our food not too long after. I ordered a mixed kebab plate, came out fresh & hot. The chef insisted that no nuts were used (perhaps it was from contamination?). I was not expecting to recieve any form of compensation or free food, just some form of compassion.
No one asked if I was okay. No one cared. They probably didn't believe that I was sick from nuts. Perhaps I should have vomited all over the table instead of the toilet, maybe they would have taken me more seriously.
When leaving everyone thanked me for coming as if nothing happened. I felt truely disrespected.
Ps. They also have a tip jar, which is the first I have...
