Long story short, staffs didn't speak any English so we did figure out how it worked 🤣. Step 1. You get to the machine. Insert money. Choose what you want. We didn't figure that much so we try with the basic option, a bowl of Ramen. The machine will print out the ticket for you. There are many other add on options to choose for example extra noodles, boiled egg, more meat... Step 2. Find a seat. On each personal counter there's a personalized your Ramen slip in Japanese. The staffs will change it to English to you. For example I don't like spring onions so there's an option on the slip if you want your Ramen without /with/ with extra onions. Step 3. Press the button on the table. The staff will come to collect the slip and you will have your Ramen in no time. Taste is great, but it's quite fattier than other Ramen places that we have tried especially the meat. So if you like something lean and less fat. This is not for you. The option of refill is available you just need to put it on the slip and press the button on the table again. Also beer and matcha pudding dessert...
Read moreYes, finally! After a couple of attempts to visit Ichiran in Osaka I figured out there is a shop in Hiroshima too! But not with endless queues from the early morning till midnight. I actually had no wait:) When I got in, I was being seated at the bar but that was a major disappointment. Soo small! No space for my legs even if I would chop them in half haha. So I got a private room with 4 chairs all by myself. I think this room was close to the kitchen, cause I heard all the conversation from the kitchen. I think this is one of the most and best aligned restaurants in Japan. The cooking time of your noodles must be perfect in time, within seconds. Also the time between start of making the dish and serving out is being tracked in second and may not exceed a certain time to guarantee the best dining experience....
Read moreGreat establishments all over Japan. We tried them out in Tokyo, Kobe & Hiroshima & they were always amazing.
It’s a 24hrs venue & most of the time there is a queue. The ordering system is fantastic. You order on a screen & pay for your meal. You then fill up a form explaining who you would like your meal. You hand this to your server & wait.
You have a choice of booths or table, they are both fantastic experiences.
Food comes out very fast & it’s really worth queuing for.
I would recommend to get some extra noodles cause they give you plenty of that delicious pork bone broth 🤤
We got an almond milk matcha pannacotta to end the meal, so simple but sooo good.
Definitely try. We found this place on Tik Tok. FYI : if you don’t eat PORK, please don’t go. There is no veggie options or anything apart from...
