If you want to eat Italian in Japan, this is definitely the place to go. Service was amazing. The lady was so kind and took good care of us. We always had water in our glasses, and we were also given a small note with useful Japanese sentences in restaurants and we thought it was a nice touch. The food was delicious. The ham was actually tasty (compared to the one we've eaten so far in Japan) and there was a good quantity of it on the pizza. The dough I guess is homemade and was very good. It felt like Italy again! We finished with a chocolate cake, and it was also really tasty and felt like it was homemade as well. Portions were big so it was really worth the price as the food was delicious. I've read some reviews, and clearly some people never travelled to Italy and do not know anything about managing a restaurant. It's a pizza restaurant, so you'll only find pizza. However, that's the reason why so many foreigners come here. I would definitely recommend this place to anybody who wish to have a...
Read moreEverything about this place was great. The woman was very nice and when I asked for one of the pizzas without anchovies she brought out a vegetarian/vegan menu that had a bunch of additional pizzas on it and told us exactly what everything was. The pizza came out super hot and tasted really really good. The salad was fresh and made with local greens. My Japanese isn't very good, but she understood and used the English she knew. She even taught me how to say "many" in Hiroshima dialect! She was interested in us and friendly, without being overly so. When we left I had a chance to thank the man making the pizzas, and he seemed really nice as well. August is definitely a hot time of year to be making pizza in a hot oven too. I can't recommend this place enough--me and my parents all left very happy and ready to go back the next day, and we have different tastes. Especially if you're vegetarian, or even vegan, this is a place you know they know what that means and have options, which is a plus anywhere, but...
