I visited your restaurant on April 25 around 12:30 PM. Despite the queue, your staff efficiently managed seating and orders at the entrance, and the 45-minute wait was well worth it.
I ordered the アジの梅しそフライ, which was absolutely delicious. The deboned mackerel, stuffed with plum and shiso, was perfectly fried yet retained its juiciness—an exquisite balance of flavors. The two pieces of fried onion were equally delightful. The post-meal black coffee was a perfect touch, rounding off a wonderful dining experience.
I must commend your staff, particularly the female server, for her exceptional service. She was attentive, accommodating, and communicated effortlessly in English, meeting all my needs with care. Her warmth and professionalism made the visit truly memorable.
I look forward to returning to your restaurant on my next trip to Kamakura. Thank you for an...
Read moreMy wife and I visited for lunch on a Tuesday and they were quite busy. Fortunately, we only had to wait about ten minutes before being seated.
My wife ordered the tuna bowl set and I had the fried chicken (kara-age) set from the lunch menu. Both were delicious and a great value. The portions were generous with the lunch set including salad, miso soup, pickles, and rice. It even included a cup of coffee to close the meal.
My fried chicken was perhaps the best I’ve ever had. The batter was crunchy, the meat juicy, and flavored with soy sauce and hints of ginger and garlic. I’m not sure why but even though the menu states the lunch includes two pieces of chicken, I was given an extra third piece. It was more than I usually eat but I managed to finish everything!
If you’re visiting Kamakura, this place is definitely worth the short walk from the...
Read moreWent there before going on to explore Kamakura. Half of the tables were empty at 2pm but we were asked to wait outside until the waitress finished settling customers’ bills — was a bit tempted to leave at that point but we were welcomed in quickly after. The sets are super large for the price (everything’s under 1500JPY or so?) with soup, salad and pickles, and they give you coffee after your meal. The service was good after we were seated. The tofu hamburger was really good, and the seafood was fresh. The karaage is super big in size and flavourful as well. It’s a nice place to eat and relax....
