Maybe there is a reason for the low rating but I had a pleasant experience at this place. It’s a small traditional house hidden behind a lush green garden façade. There is a few seatings outside (behind a glass cover) with a garden view and a irori table inside. I had warabi mochi and it was delicious. I ordered 担品 so it came with a generous portion. The matcha latte was so so, hot serving or iced coffee might have been a better choice for me. There is only one person to run the place. I can imagine it used to be a really nice cafe. (still nice place if the place is a lot cleaner and organized.) The building is very nice and traditional with nice trees. An old lady, the owner of this cafe worked by herself. (She has a hearing problem) The service is slow but if you have time, that wouldn't be a problem...
